R.I.P. Mum...
Mum was really rather special
As I guess are most our mothers,
She loved my sister Sara most
And me, and both my brothers.
The reality is our dearest mum
Was always about giving,
She even gave a kidney so her eldest could keep living.
She gave her time, she gave her smile
She made you feel you were it,
Because to her you were her number one
She meant it, every bit.
She welcomed all her grandchildren
With her customary smile,
And would happily just be with them
For more than just a while.
Rarely was she anything else
But loving, caring, giving...
God how I wish that she was still with us living.
But natures cruel and takes us all,
Her lovely smiling face
Has now left this world for good
To, I pray, a better place.
